Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you will be responsible for managing the flow of incoming and outgoing shipments in our warehouse or distribution center. Your primary goal will be to ensure accurate and timely processing of orders, maintaining inventory records, and coordinating with various departments to meet customer demands.

Duties:
- Inspect incoming shipments for damages or discrepancies
- Verify the accuracy of orders by comparing them to invoices or packing lists
- Prepare shipping documents, including labels and bills of lading
- Package items securely for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation
- Coordinate with carriers to schedule pick-ups and deliveries
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming packages or materials
- Maintain accurate inventory records using a warehouse management system (WMS) or MRP software
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve any shipping or inventory issues

- Be honest, punctual, and have a great work ethic

- Perform other duties as needed

- 1 year of experience preferred

Pay: From $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
